Hi, my name is Ashley! I am a wife and mother of 4 beautiful children. I don't know about you but the stresses of daily life start to weigh me down. That is why I feel it is so important to unplug every now and then and just get away from it all. My family and I love taking vacations, but it's also fun to take a romantic couple's getaway or girl's weekend too. However, I will say that traveling with kids is much more enjoyable when you have a whole condo to spread out in and not just a tiny hotel room or two.
When I was in high school, my parents purchased their first timeshare deed. As the years went on they added to their ownership as well as added me. The problem is, we don't have enough time to use it all yearly.

WHAT SHOULD YOU EXPECT?
Most resorts have studio, 1 bedroom, 2 bedroom, 3 bedroom, and even 4 bedroom condos. In some of the major cities there may even be basic hotel room options. As for amenities...aside from the usual lavish pools, game rooms, golf courses, etc., you can expect fun filled family activities. These could include movie nights, trivia nights, crafts, contests, and more! Why stay at a boring hotel when timeshare resorts have so much more to offer?
How do I find such amazing deals?
Many timeshare companies have perks for its members. Those who own at a higher level get even greater discounts (although they have paid A LOT of money to be at that level). With Wyndham, certain owners can get huge discounts starting at 60 days before the check-out date. So, if you are looking for a last minute vacation you can usually get a great deal. However, the downfall to that is some of the more popular resorts and locations get completely booked several months out. So, if your vacation location is flexible then it may pay off to wait. If not, then booking in advance at the normal but still lower than market rate may be your best option.
